Why pay for full-time engineering staff, plus benefits, when you can get engineering services 'as needed'? For a monthly fee, you can have answers to your technical questions on drawings or to actually review individual drawings and/or product projects (new or existing) for dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.
How the Service Works--
1) For a predetermined sum, your organization would subscribe to our 'on call' service through a blanket purchase order or company credit card for a specific time period (for example, one month or 6 month time frame) This subscription would be set up for automatic billing each month (for the term of the contract).
2) Standard Contract = 20 hours of 'on call' consulting time provided per month (standard contract is a minimum of 20 hours; however, this figure may be expanded to meet your needs).
3) If the agreed upon monthly time was used up before the end of the month, your organization would have to have more funds approved for that month before any further work would proceed on our end.
3) For a specific product project, the parameters per month may be different than stated above after project review (i.e., cost and time involved based on the complexity of the project).
4) Any staff member from your company or (authorized) supplier would have access to utilize this service via phone, email or hard copy through the mail. [You would provide specific information as to who would be authorized to use this service.]
5) The number of hours used per month would be based on the amount of time and research needed to provide the correct answer to each of the 'on call' question(s) and/or drawing(s) review. However, for each 'on call' contact (phone call, e-mail question, e-mailed drawing, set of project drawings or review of hard copy of drawings), the minimum time charged for each contact session would be 2 hours of time.
